Episode 11 - Completing the

removal of the ceiling and

seats

In Ontario where I live we get dramatic seasonal temperature changes. The insulation that comes in the bus ceiling isn’t adequate to insulate occupants from the heat and cold. To replace the insulation I first have to remove all the sheet metal panels affixed to the ceiling. I’m grateful that they are not riveted in place, but each seam has 61 screws to be removed. There are also speaker wires and ceiling lights to be removed. And I had to figure out how to defeat a buzzer that goes off when an overhead escape hatch is removed. I had kept one bench seat in the bus to give rides to family and friends. But that finally had to go. Click the image below to see episode11 on my YouTube channel.
